Google Analytics and Adwords integration - overview

Follow these instructions to integrate Bookeo with your Google Analytics account

If you already have a Google Analytics account

In 2013 Google started introducing in beta a new version of Analytics, called Universal Analytics. The older version is still perfectly supported by Google and Bookeo, and we believe it will be supported for a long time, to avoid disruptions for the millions of web sites that use it.

If you create a new Google Analytics account, you will be using Google Unioversal Analytics automatically. If you already have an old Analytics account, look at the Analytics code in your web site to understand if you're using Universal Analytics or the old Analytics.

If the tracking code in your web site looks like this:

Creating a goal in Google Analytics

You can now define a "goal" in Google Analytics. Google Analytics goals measure how often users complete specific actions. In this case, you typically want to measure when customers complete a booking.

To track a booking completion, you need to set up a "destination" goal, where the destination URL is exactly:

When setting up the goal, leave the "value" field blank. The total value (price) of the booking will be automatically taken from the e-commerce transaction tracked. Make sure E-Commerce transaction tracking is enabled in your analytics account:​
