Payments, deposits and cancellation policy in Bookeo Appointments

Online payment and deposit

To accept online payments or collect credit card details, you must use a payment gateway supported by Bookeo.
Once a payment gateway has been set up, you can decide to:

  • require online payment of the full amount
  • require online payment of a deposit
  • require customers to leave their credit card details
  • do not accept online payments

Simply log into your Bookeo account. Click on "SETTINGS", then on "Online payments".



Select the "Payment and deposit" tab



then choose the desired Online payment type from the scroll down list.



Cancellation fees

In this page you can also set cancellation fees to be charged in case of cancellation or no-show. Bookeo does not automatically give a refund to customers, but will inform you that a refund is due. You can issue the refund using the tools provided by your payment gateway. 
Cancellation fees can vary depending on when the cancellation is made.

First set the standard cancellation fee (fixed, per cent or full amount paid).





Then set the special cancellation fees depending on when the cancellation is made. Click on the "New fee" button and select when this fee has to be applied (X minutes/hours/days/months before the start of the booking).




Finally select the fee to be applied (fixed, per cent or full amount paid).
